Recently joined the forum, bought a 03 2.5 sve which is quite different to the other vehicles we have. Wife drives a 62 plate swift sport which is great to drive and pretty good on fuel, my company vehicle is a diesel navara, however my other transport is a triumph daytona triple and a subtle but modified 5 door mk2 golf. Out of all of the cars I will always prefer to drive the golf, it's running a very perky 2.0 16v from a mk3 with Koni suspension eibach anti roll bars, wider track front suspension and corrado speedline wheels. We bought the x trail so that the golf can be relieved of the ravages of salt, disabled parents can be transported and weather won't stop the work commute for the wife. The daytona is just a weekend toy, fantastic machine sounds like a 70's Porsche 911and looks gorgeous. Great forum. Thanks for reading.
