Hi
I'm trying to search for the phrase tyre pressure. According to the instructions on the forum search page I should put + in front of words that should be found. I try that and it ignores tyre. In fact no matter what I do it ignores tyre. How do I search for the exact phrase "tyre pressure" please?

Hello there,

Can you try just searching that without the +?
Search using the Google Customer Search and let me know if that worked.

I believe the OP is using the forum Advanced Search feature, which is ignoring rhe word tyre, probably due to the number of results found.

Yes I am. All I was trying to do was to see if there's a recommended tyre pressure as the one on the door post of my X is too low.

Give the Google Custom Search a go.

This is the results I get when using the forum search.

Just returned from holiday hence the slow reply. Yes those pressures are what is on the door pillar. However they make the tyre look very flat and the edges wear which shows it's under inflated.

What size tyres have you changed from / to? What was the previous and current load index? If you have increased the sidewall profile you will get some bulge.

They are the tyres that came with it when I bought it 3 months ago. 215/60r17. Goodyear at the front and Continental at the rear.

Apologies. I was confusing you with another user who has upsized tyres. These are the correct tyre pressures for 2006 XTrail on 215 60 17 tyres. Tap the image to enlarge.
