Been working on my newly acquired T31 yesterday and noticed the rear discs looking a little worse for wear ,especially the drivers side .I managed to get the passenger rear slider pins out ,cleaned and lubed up again .Undid the top rear drivers side slider pin but the head on the bottom slider pin just rounded off .I knocked a 13mm impact socket on but that did the same ,christ they were tight .I had a look today and decided to weld a washer and nut on the head and it came undone without snapping off  . I noticed the inner pad had worn on a slight angle.

I had kept a few old T30 parts and had slider pins and a couple of rear pads from that .I wonder if they carried on over to the T31.What a stroke of luck as the pads are the same and the slider pin fitted too  .The caliper and carrier look the same too ,so wonder if the discs front and back are the same ??

Anyway I can now take the slider pins out again.

I will stuck new discs and pads on the rear as some stage but at least there is no binding on the back now and .I will check the front over in the week .

Always worth checking them over as I knew on the old T30 they suffer with the slider pins seizing up .

I changed the oil and filters as well .The fuel filter is a bit easier to change than the 2.2 dci ,and the oil filter too.The only pronlem I had was that plastic under panel, as someone had changed the plastic clips to some right nasty little ones. I just could not get them out ,so had to break them all .I had some others I used which flip out with a screw driver easier  .All in all got on well .

You have to take a vernier caliber and take the measurments.
Part numbers are different.
