I'm starting to have a blowout on the top edge of the rear box. Appears to be one very long piece from rear box all the way to the join at the CAT. Not sure whether to make a repair, or maybe its time to replace this whole section. Nuts will be impossible to release with socket etc, will probably have to carefully cut the remains of the bolts off without damaging studs if possible.

Car is 2008 with 109K miles, otherwise in great condition underneath and all round. I do annually grease all underneath bolts and nuts to prevent corrosion but, even with copper grease, it quickly burns off hot exhaust parts.

Will price the exhaust later at my local motor factor.
