I am having problems with my 2005 dci sport t30, tried looking on eBay for best scanner.

I don't really want a blue tooth version, so many to choose from, I know a lot will not work.
Just want one for codes & live data, & not to expensive & more importantly it works ok.

& easy to use not to technical.

I'm sure there's some one could point me in the right direction.

Thank you

Well the bluetooth elm versions have the merit of being very cheap, the software is pretty good and you can connect to your laptop or phone. Other option are direct plug in units that will read and clear codes, but some also let you look at live data.

Something like this

Elm327 bluetooth dongle and if you have an android phone or tablet then download Torquepro. They do a free version which will give you the base data you require or you can pay a few quid for pro which gives you a lot more.

Best regards

Good luck on the T30.
buy a cheap Bluetooth obd2 scanner first and see if it will connect? if it does you are good to go. if it does not connect you have the same issue i had and then you need a different solution.
1 http://www.nissandatascan.com/ (this will cost £50 with lead)
2 Ebay (search) Bluetooth All Car Truck Universal Fault Reader Code Diagnostic Scanner Tool OBD2 (3 week wait £35)

I would go for option 2 as it can be used on many cars (both options do not cover the ABS)

More details can be given if required

good luck
