 Post subject: Lost power trailer plug

Hello i have a xtrailer diesel -10 and i lost power to my trailer plug! Checked for broken fuses under the hood and inside the car but no burned fuses what i can see. Behind the panel in the back i found a can bus witch feed the towbar plug and i dont have power in to the can bus and i cant find any fuse..

will be an extra loose fuse tapped into the wiring,
or direct to battery,

could be anywhere, but would try behind the fuse box by the drivers knee,

look for anything that does not look part of the original wiring,

could be tapped into the ignition switch also,

The fuse for mine is in a wire coming out of the under bonnet fuse box near the battery.

From my point of view, you have to work the other way around... Start at the tow-bar side and work your way back. Than you'll find it. :whistle:

I checked at the back of my car all the way to where the steering pole goes in to the engine room. Checked the fuse boxes... cant find it :( could it have something to do with the radio witch all suddenly got bad reception..

Ultimate solution is: cut of all wires and start again. It's not a very big job to do. :thumbs:
