There's really not many types to choose from, fixed or detachable hitch really, Witter seem to be as good a choice as any if not better. Search out one from Witter and see what you think....

I know this thread is a few weeks old but I was just considering the same thing.

I've noticed that some of the aftermarket tow bars need a section cut from the bottom of the bumper which I'm not keen on.

There is a nissan tow bar on Ebay for £145, which seems cheap compared to the ones that require a cut - round about the £200 mark.

Steve.

the bumper cut is on the bottom, and you can only
see it if you lay under the car,

don't go cheap, its a one payment only,

I can knock you up one out of an old bed frame for £100

The cost isn't really an issue so long as its reasonable.

As far as I could tell though, this was for the genuine Nissan part.

went for Witter DT136AU, well built and easy to fit yourself,
minimum tools,
if you go for self fit, we can talk you through it,

fixed ball, but would go for the bolted on, as I needed ring and pin, about £170
