Does the x trail (t30) have a built in towing buzzer/beeper for the indicators.

When I had a primera p12 2003, I fitted the tow bar myself and was able to wire the tow electrics up direct without using the indicator warning buzzer/beeper and it worked perfect the buzzer was built in at the front of the car and didn't need anything activating it just worked.

Hoping the xtrail is the same, can never hear the buzzer half the time with the ones installed in the boot area.

My (2003) T30 didnt have a buzzer, so when I had the electrics fitted I had one of those done at the same time. Fitted in the rear pillar and can hear it from the front seats OK

Seems strange that Nissan would have this feature on the primera but not the x trail.

My Xtrail Di Sept 2003 model has the buzzer feature fitted. I had a tow bar fitted a few years ago and it worked the moment I plugged a trailer in.

I fitted a buzzer in the back in the end and I've not towed with the xtrail yet to see if there's a buzzer built in up front, will find out Friday when I take the caravan out.
