Hi all - I bought a 59 plate Aventura recently and I'm trying to work out which model sat nav it has. This is mainly so I can work out what upgrade options there are.

I've found the DVD and this has 'E0E 636R 25920 JU40A DVM-1405E' and the Map version info on the main display says 2008-09 Europe.

However, there seem to be different types of sat nav systems mentioned but I can't find anything to indicate which type of system I have. Any suggestions from the above info?

I'd like to know if the map can be updated and if so what the latest one is. Also is it possible to upgrade the system firmware/software - e.g. to provide destination search by post code?

Thanks

Tim

Hi Scuba T

It'll be a V7, but there are no software upgrades available , so no post code search.

Just try a web search..

There's ebay .....http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Nissan-Xanavi ... 3385b6b562

or....http://www.satnaviupdates.net/DVD_GPS_N ... 35660.aspx

or....http://bestnavishop.miiduu.com/latest-2 ... -v20122013

I'm not endorsing these as I've not purchased from these sources.

Best
Ken

No post code search, bit the current 2012-2013 version is available for £29 from Satnav Update.

Yours will be the x7 version as used in my 59 plate X-Trail.

But as I bought my 2012-2013 update in July last year, I would expect the new 2013-2014 update to be available very soon.

John
