My mobile phone has been connected to my X-t via bluetooth without problem until today. For some reason it does not pick up my mobile. I have looked at the settings but cannot see an obvious solution. Not being completely computer savvy I am hoping one of you whiz kids can point me in the right direction.

Hi Rowlie - my mobile sometimes disconnects by itself and the only reason I know it's happened is when my phone rings in my pocket, rather than through the stereo! I have found that if you restart the car, the mobile phone or go into the stereo's settings and manually connect the phone, it's good again for wee while!

However, my voice activated dialling worked for months but suddenly stopped last summer and I've not figured out what's went wrong and nothing I've done seems to have fixed it. Maybe both of these issues are related to something I did?

Anyway, I hope this helps.

Cheers

Thanks Bloggsy.
I tried deleting and then reinstalling. The car screen showed the phone connected for a few seconds then disappeared. Will keep trying

Have you checked your phone's settings? I would have a look and make sure the car stereo has been noted as a 'trusted device' and can connect automatically
