Hi Soren,

Who did you get to re-map your X-Trail? Are they a nationwide company or where in the country did you get the work done?

You say a stage 1 re-map, I am assuming that there is a stage 2 re-map too? Any thoughts or previous experiences with a stage 2 re-map if one exists?

Hi xtruck, I took my Disco TD5 back to the place I bought it from LRC in Congleton, they took it to a local tuning company.Loads of places do it just make sure its a remap and not a chip,Another thing is its totally reliable and undetectable unless you need to upgrade it, then out comes the computer again so no worries with Mr Insurance.

PS yes I did say Disco TD5, I am on here because I like the Xtrail and am considering buying one.
My Disco is 100% reliable and very good on fuel when towing (between 24-27 depending on weather and road conditions) but around town (and that's where most of my journeys are it cant match the Xtrail.

Hey....guess what? In the world of Performance Tuning...like any other sphere...you get what you pay for, by and large...

Personally, for a permanent tune, I would use: http://www.p-torque.co.uk/
and for a removable tune box: http://www.chipexpress.com/
