Diesel engines in general do not have starvation for air.
Diesel engine works a bit different than pertol engine. Getting cold air into engine does not affect the power in everyday driving. Only thing worth a penny is ECU remap.

So I had a go at doing the egr cleaning with a can of wynns egr3 for some preventative maintenance using the guide linked earlier in this thread. Think I must have given it a little too much acceleration as the engine light came on! Both red and yellow/orange.

I obviously s*#t myself so decided that was enough and turned off the car and hooked the pipe back up. Only used half a can.

Remembering I had an obd tool from my audi I had a go at fitting it to the xy and thank God it cleared the engine light.

So all good!

The T31 has an air scoop at bonnet lip. Obd scanner shows at 0c ambient -1c intake air temp.
