Nope - they appear clean white to me - and are a good match for our HIDs.

I did originally fit some of the cheapo surface mount/non-diffusing ones - but these look better, as you rightly summise.

Hi fella , do these give a slight blueish tinge or actually white light ? don't suppose you've got any pictures with them on with your HID's

cheers

Just been out and taken some pics...just for you. Hard to accurately represent, but some with flash and without, alongside HIDs...make your own mind up - they don't look at all 'blue' to me. tho': https://www.dropbox.com/sh/cpbeqg3smk2s ... Sidelights

...and, nope, never seen any CANBUS issues with the Exxy when swapping bulbs - think it's mainly the Germans (BMWs, Mercs) who suffer from those sort of issues?

Took the younger lad to ProDrive Kenilworth today - to take a spin in a GT-R for his 16th.

https://www.dropbox.com/s/ofj3di0063k77 ... oDrive.JPG

There and back, had the AT/S G012s up to (ahem) speed on the A34 and M40 - still VERY impressed with both the grip and (surprising) lack of tyre scrub / noise, compared to the GrandTreks, tbh...was expecting them to be a little noisier - but nope.

As you intimate - they are rare fitment (215 60 17) for an already rare (in UK market) tyre. I have it on good authority that we only see about 2/3 shipments a year of Yoko rubber per year - so if you want 'em and find 'em - then snap 'em up! (am planning to source another set WELL before these are on the way out...)

...That concludes your regular G012 Programming!

Have just upgraded mine to LED ones on the side lights and they match the headlights for whiteness.

Also change the internal lights which again are yellowish for LED's and they are now really white and light.

Try http://www.autobulbsdirect.co.uk not cheap but worth the cost.

Kept the old 501 and festoon ones so that when we come to part with the care we can put them back in.
