Ask the seller for the CE cert. The cheaper ones have not the cert and will fail MOT.

Ask for DRL's, I got these

https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B01 ... UTF8&psc=1

But you'll also need a control unit - something like this

https://www.amazon.co.uk/Dectane-SY-SJ2 ... 2A31M0KEKG

There are lots of choices out there (there's several threads on this and some have posted pics, if you want to take a look)

Hope this helps.

Cheers

DRLs on an X-Trail can never fully comply with regulations as there is no place to fit them that will comply with the rules on distance from the outside edge of the vehicle.

The only real place they can fit is in the left and right air slots in the bumper - that's where I had mine fitted.

But make sure you use genuine DRLs and not the cheaper "fashion" lights. A DRL *has* do either dim or go off when the headlights are turned on or they will be too bright at night.

Mine dim.

I went along to my local car electric company and bought them from him and had him professionally fit them - they lok good and appear as if there were a factory fit as they fit the hole so well.

But well worth having.
