Just renewing my insurance for my 2011 T31 Tekna and was considering a remap with Celtic Tuning so discussed this with my insurers LV. I was pleasantly surprised as quote without was £318 and with remap another 12 quid so £330 and they don't need the certificate!

Car does 10k year business use for wife and I, protected NCD and guaranteed hired courtesy car etc......... I've had no claims apart from windscreen in 20 years.

Merkat site wanted 600 quid and the rest; needless to say staying with LV for the 5th year running.

I am thinking abaout remaping too. Here, the documents does not change. Only Volvo offers the polestar packet with new registration papers.
