Hi Guys

Due to some shoddy manoeuvring involving reversing , pitch black darkness and a low wall, I need to make a repair to the nearside front wing. :bigcry:

Needless to say this is pretty gutting considering it's now a 12 year old car. :headbang:

I've had a price to just have the panel beaten out, filled then resprayed, but replacing the panel would reduce the labour time considerably and if the end cost were similar it would overall be a better option.

While I'm waiting on another quote, I'm also investigating sourcing a panel from a breaker.

I can see bolts around the panel in strategic places but I'm not certain if it is welded anywhere as well.

Can anyone advise please?

Cheers

Thanks Barry

Just bit the bullet and picked one up from a local breakers.

It's close to perfect ...... definitely a darn site better than the old one.

I did remember once reading about plastic wings but this does appear to be all metal with holes to fasten with bolts.

A better solution than panel beating and filler.
