Depends on where the leak is .Yes you can take the ends off the inter-cooler carefully and re-seal then stick back together and that might do the job, but like mine the actual leak wasn't on the seal but inboard of the gasket so no chance of sealing .A welded inter-cooler is the way to go but make sure you get the right year as they changed slightly around Sept 05
