The SATNAV is useless in East Europe (X6), so the future plan is to buy 2DIN unit and replace the original screen.

My first attempt to make a cold air intake.

Hi
Replaced the intercooler fan 50c switch with 40c.
I measured fuel consumption the switch in 2wd mode-8.1l/100km and in auto 8.6l/100km.
70 percent city driving
I did repaired the intercooler with windscreen clue. Right now it seems to be working, no oil outside the cooler.
Pics soon.

Wearing rubber cloves is a must!!
Firstly i use d Phillips 2 screwdriver to clean the ribs. Bigger flat one could do damage to them. At the end i used a small flat screwdriver to remove the tiny bits. Then used lots of brake cleaner to clean the surface from oil. I bought a professional silicone gun, because windscreen glue is very thick and i ruined two cheaper ones. I used Soudal one but there are other brands on the market like 3M etc. I used 2 tubes. Also using regular silicone nozzle is recommended to access deeper between cooler ribs. When all filled then i did another circle at the cooler end.
At the end use your finger with soapy water like with regular silicone.

Only the light on Dash. I would suggest add injector cleaner in to the fuel or run it only on cleaner.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7UUlOU-VAQw&feature=related Liqui moly diesel purge or something, but i did put the filter to the feed hose, not returning hose.
