Hi all

My xtrail has been bugging me, my model did not come with the headlight aiming control, I do find it strange that it didn't because this was suppose to be the fully spec model.

Anyway, my headlight has sudden drop to such a level that it dangerous to drive at night with the low beam, and I want to set the aim higher. But for the love of me I can't find any information online on where exactly the screws are located. Had a look but can't see where it could be.
Contacted Nissan and they told me only a dealership can do it, which I find hard to believe.

Has anyway had to deal with a similar issue, would love to hear your thoughts on this. Any help will be much appreciated in this case.

Many thanks

Hi, I haven't heard of this particular issue. The original T32 doesn't have an adjustment setting for the LED headlights, I'm not sure how they could drop. Unlike Xenons, there's no self-levelling procedure when you start the car. Did the headlights get bumped or knocked in some way?
Hi, yes its been very strange. No they've not been knocked, as far as I know or seen. I probably have no choice but to take it into the dealership. I did speak to a mechanic friend of mine and he said the same that this model does not have adjustment setting, and should auto adjust. Had a look on some other forums and they mention is could be the rear load sensor part that is faulty, and by the looks of things it could be a costly affair. Many thanks for your reply.
