When I got mine done I did it at a main dealer. They charged me an arm and a leg and I paid through the nose.

If that wasn't enough, I had to pay up front and wait about 5 weeks.

Please Heeelp!!!... just got back from a holiday unbelievable but somebody has stolen one of our xtrail T30 keys. I have a spare but need to get the central locking buttons fixed.... I'm confident I can get that done easily enough.

Problem is, we only have one key now and if that gets lost (or stolen) we'll be stuffed.

What are our options for getting a new key?? (need a whole blank cut, with a transponder that will work and central locking circuit).

sussed it now the 3 presses on the remote have to be really quick, all sorted now on both remotes.

 

i have tried this till i'm blue in the face, any ideas why it doesn't recognize me pressing the buttons on the remote?

 

Great I will give this a go. I had not been removing the key after putting into re-programme mode and the end result was that I could only programme one remote and it would only lock rather than unlock!

Thanks so much for this - it worked fine.

i did however have to to lock all doors using the central locking switch on the driver's door before following your instructions to the letter.
