Old girl failed her MOT today, diagnosis from the garage is that the P/S rack is totally ********, and needs replacing,Mitch no view to fix the existing unit.
It's a 2006 2.2 diesel Aventura.
I'm not paying for a brand new part as they want well over £300 alone, let alone the labour.... Agreed that they would fit a second hand unit if I can source one.
Having a look on eBay they using their filter, there are two options
2.2 DCI and 2.2 DCI 4x4, didn't realise there was a difference? Mine is 4X4, and reg is DY56AWC.
Garage won't advise as they don't want to take liability if the part doesn't fit, which is fair, can anyone advise which rack should fit? A link to one on eBay or similar would be hugely appreciated!
Meant to be going on holiday next week, so unfortunately time is of the essence.
